DHADING, August 15: After a landslide damaged some electricity poles, the electricity supply to Dhading Besi has been cut off. On Sunday morning, After the landslide damaged the poles and wires in the transmission line segment of Tarukaghat-Dhadingbesi 33 kV from Devighat station on Sunday, electricity service was interrupted.
According to the Electricity Office Dhading, two poles were swept away by the landslide. Similarly, other 10 electric poles have been damaged where the wires are cut.

In places where there is no road access, the pole itself is broken, so it is not possible to repair it immediately. As a new line has to be built, it will take about 2 days to resume the electricity service, according to the Dhading Electricity Office.
