BAITIDI, June 20: In Baitadi, the electricity service will be stopped for four days. According to Pawan Bhatta, Chief of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) office Baitadi, the electricity service will be halted from June 20 to June 24. The electricity supply will be disrupted because the repair work of a substation will begin.
“There is a need for a new substation, this is why the electricity supply will be stopped. It is assumed that it will take four days for the installation of the new substation,” Said Bhatta
According to NEA, Baitadi, the substation is old, due to which the electricity supply is disrupted from time to time. To resolve this problem, the arrangement for replacing the old substation has begun. The repair work will begin from Monday, 7AM.
However, we are finding alternative lines to resume electricity supply, Said Bhatta. He said, “ If possible, we will find ways to resume electricity for a few hours in the evening, but we will know this only after the work has begun.” NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused due to the power outage.
