KATHMANDU, May 11: Popular radio program presenter Suraj Shrestha has passed away on Saturday. He was 45.

Shrestha breathed his last at 2:15 am at Om Hospital, Chabahil where he had been admitted for treatment of motor neuron disease, according to family sources.

Shrestha was a familiar program presenter at Image FM. He went on to become the station manager of Image FM.

Born in Sunsari, he had also directed several music videos. Before joining the radio station, he also worked with some local daily newspapers in Dharan. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and son.
