Polling begins in 52 polling centers out of 66 in Dolpa

Voters from 52 polling centers out of 66 have started to cast their vote in Dolpa,a mountainous district,  from 7:30 am.

DOLPA, Nov 26: Voters from 52 polling centers out of 66 have started to cast their vote in Dolpa,a mountainous district, from 7:30 am.


Voting in 14 polling centers of upper Dolpa have been affected due to dipping temperature. Polling at Chharkatangsong, Dolpo, Buddha and Shey Phoksundo are yet to start.

According to the chief returning officer Bikram Giri, polls are going on in very peaceful manner in the district. There are 18,989 voters in two constituencies in the district.


Voters are excited to elect their representatives.  Polling officers have been told to manage special arrangements for physically disabled people, senior citizens, pregnant women, nursing mothers and sick people.
