Hom Bahadur Thapa, 34, of Radhapur-4, Banke took his own life by hanging on a shoe lace. He was found dead after he failed to show up in regular roll call in the evening, said Inspector Bijay Kumar Singh.Thapa had joined the service in 2006 and was deputed in Rolpa for the last two years.
Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind the suicide.
