KATHMANDU, June 4: Police arrested an Indian national with 27,483 grams of gold at Nagdhunga from a vehicle coming from Jhapa.
According to SP Apilraj Bohora of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police, police apprehended the suspect from a passenger bus (Ba Pra 03-001-Kha 3139) en route from Kakarbhitta, Jhapa, to Kathmandu. The suspect had hidden the gold inside the vehicle.

Police identified the arrested individual as 31-year-old Indian citizen De Samanta and seized the gold from his possession.
