He will visit Jajarkot and Rukum, according to the prime minister´s office. Health Minister Uma Kanta Chaudhary and other officials will accompany him.
On Sunday, the PM instructed ministers and secretaries of major ministries concerned to immediately send doctors and medicines and to take other immediate measures to contain the epidemic that has claimed lives of over 160 people in the region.
Nepal had summoned ministers and secretaries for home, defense, health and law to discuss the matter at his residence in Baluwatar.
