KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is holding a meeting with the leaders of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) at his official residence in Baluwatar on Friday.
According to Prime Minister’s press advisor Govinda Acharya, Prime Minister Dahal has called the meeting in a bid to forge consensus on the disputed issues including election date, constitution amendment.
In a bid to forge agreement on the disputed issues, Prime Minister has invited us to Baluwatar at 4 pm today, General Secretary of Rastriya Madhes Samajwadi Party Keshab Jha told Republica Online.
Earlier in a meeting, Prime Minister had asked us some questions but the government started preparing for local elections without listening to our views, Jha said.
Jha further said that UDMF will not go for the elections without amendment of the constitution.
Leaders of the CPN (Maoist Center) and Nepali Congress were present in the meeting.
