KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has declared to donate his first salary to Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation. The PM took this decision in a meeting with the artist couple at his Official Residence in Baluwatar, on Wednesday morning.  

The couple had launched the foundation to help the earthquake victims after the devastating quake that took place on April 25, 2015. Realizing their efforts as an exemplary work, PM Dahal said, “I’m with you in your campaign, and for the time being, my first month’s salary  will be donated to your foundation to mark my support.”

Saying that he wants to do something for the nation, the Prime Minister stated that the government and the people should work together for the country.   

In the meeting, the Dhurmus-Suntali requested the Prime Minister to expedite the reconstruction process.
