KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving for New York on Tuesday, leading Nepali delegation to the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Deuba will address the UNGA on September 23 and hold bilateral meeting with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres the same day, according to the foreign ministry.

The High Level Segment of the UNGA will begin 19 September 2017 with the theme of ‘Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet’.
On the sidelines of the UNGA, Deuba will have bilateral meetings with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani; Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena; Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on September 21.
