Kathmandu, April 13: Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he is all committed to uniting all the Communist parties including the Maoist Revolutionary existing in the country.

Addressing a programme organised today at the party central office Parisdanda to declare the unification between the party and Communist Party of Nepal headed by leftist leader Tanka Rai, the Maoist Center Chair said his efforts were going on to bring all Communist parties at home together.

"The Communist philosophy remains as the most scientific and lately developed philosophy meant for the liberation of people and for their freedom," he claimed.
Stating that the country was holding the local-level election for the first time after the promulgation of the constitution, the PM said the power currently centered in the Singha–Durbar would automatically go to the people after the election.

On the occasion, he urged party cadres to remain alert to any possible attempts at foiling the local-level election scheduled for May 14 and making it unsuccessful and to unite against such forces who according to him did not want positive change in the country.

On the occasion, leader Rai said he decided to merge the party with the CPN (MC) as he believed that it would help take the revolutionary movement ahead by defeating opportunistic forces.

With the unification, Rai has got the responsibility of party headquarters member while other leaders Ramhari Karki and Amber Rai will serve as the party politburo members. RSS
