KATHMANDU, Aug 31: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has responded to CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, stating that it is Dahal, not him, who should learn from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Oli made this remark during the launch of the book Into the Fire, written by Captain Rameshwar Thapa on Saturday.

"I think this was yesterday. Prachandaji [Pushpa Kamal Dahal] reportedly advised me to learn from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Have I killed 17,000 people to tremble with fear? Have I robbed anyone to be afraid? I have nothing to fear," Oli said.
He further suggested that Dahal should be the one learning from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. "He is loudly telling me to learn from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. I want to say – learn well," Oli advised.
Oli also emphasized that Nepal has its own history and tradition, claiming that Nepal will not follow the path of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
"Mismanagement has no place in the current context of Nepal. Just because something happened in Bangladesh doesn't mean it will happen in Nepal. Nepal is not a photocopy of any other country; it has its own history and tradition," he added.
