PM KP Oli launched Professor KR Khambu’s biopic, ‘Chhayan ko Laskar’ at PM’s residence, Baluwatar.

The book was published by Nepalaya publication. The book follows Khambu’s personal life and the political situation of the time when he was a student leader. According to a press statement released, the book depicts the author’s childhood in Khotang, his time while growing up in the Terai and subsequently, following his political life.

Talking about the book, the PM said it reminded him of his struggling days in politics. Khambu worked with Oli during the Jhapa movement, when the writer was also a student leader.

“This book has expressed the situation of political movements in Nepal. It recalled my days in politics,” the PM said. “I have had a good friendship with Khambhu since the Jhapa movement and while working in the coordination committee.”
