KATHMANDU, Oct 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government has completed 70 percent of the work it promised to complete within 100 days.

Announcing the government’s achievements within the first 100 days since its formation, PM Oli claimed amid a program held at the Prime Minister’s office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday that the government has completed as many as 185 of the 274 works targeted to finish within the honeymoon period.

“When I took the vote of confidence from the parliament on July 21, I made a commitment that this government has five priorities,” he said, “Of which, the government prioritized the work that had been started or could be completed within the stipulated time.”

PM Oli added that the targeted works were classified through a performance review agreement between him and concerned cabinet ministers.

“The works were classified to be completed in the first 100 days, the second 100 days and the remaining days,” he said, “We have successfully completed 185 of the 274 works we identified to be completed in the first 100 days.”

He claimed that the government would have also completed the remaining 30 percent of the work if nature was more favorable.
