PM, Maoists must give up rigidity: Yadav

By
ITAHARI, June 7: Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) Chairman Upendra Yadav said on Monday that national consensus would be possible only if the prime minister steps down and the Maoists agrees to manage combatants and to return seized properties.

"The prime minister should give up his stubbornness that he would not resign. The Maoists also should show flexibility on integration of the combatants and returning the seized properties," said Yadav, whose party has an understanding with the Maoist party.

Yadav said that there would be no consensus until the prime minister and the Maoists discarded their rigidity. He warned of a political crisis if an outlet is not given for the political impasse.
