PM extends greetings on birth anniversary of Mahaguru Phalgunanda

In a message released on the occasion, PM Deuba wished peace, happiness and prosperity to all Kirat religion followers. The message also recognised the contribution of Mahaguru Phalgunanda to conserving, and uplifting Kirat religion, culture, and custom. 




"Nepal is a home to various religions and cultures. Rights of Nepali citizens will be safeguarded only within a shelter of democracy, and all religions, and cultures should find the same place in the country," the message read, while urging all Nepalis to take part in the upcoming House of Representatives and State Assemblies elections.
