KATHMANDU, July 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed concerned authorities to upgrade the road condition of the capital.


PM Oli summoned high officials from Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, including Minister Raghubir Mahaseth at his office and directed to upgrade the road condition of Kalanki-Thankot and Chabahil-Baudha-Jorpati road sections and to fix the potholes within 50 days.

He turned up the screw on the authorities and assured them of providing additional sources, if needed, to revamp the road in the valley.


Likewise, PM Oli has ordered the concerned authorities to construct modern, techno-friendly and standard road, sewage and other infrastructure at earliest.


Similarly, PM Oli concerned over the ongoing consequences after the end of the syndicate system in the transportation system. He also gave instruction to the stakeholders to make the public-friendly public transportation.
