PM Deuba performs pooja at Bindyabasini Temple in Pokhara

POKHARA, Nov 24: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has performed a pooja at Bindyabasini Temple in Kaski district on Friday morning.

Following the pooja, high level security officials briefed PM Deuba saying that the election activities are taking place in the region peacefully. 

Deuba had held talks with the security chiefs of western region and administrative chief of Province 4 at the Pokhara Airport before he left for Kathmandu this morning.

Deuba took stock of security condition of six districts of Province 4 where the elections are taking place on November 26.

“Prime Minister Deuba had asked us about the security condition of districts in Province 4,” Western Regional Administrator Laxman Aryal informed journalists following the meeting. Prime Minister has returned to Kathmandu after being assured of the security condition by the security chiefs.

Chief Administrative Officer Aryal has told the journalist to have briefed PM Deuba that all the security agencies are all set to hold the elections in peaceful, free and fair manner.
