PM Dahal signs work performance agreement with 21 ministers

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has signed a work performance agreement with the ministers of the federal government. Now the government is also going to make a monthly report card of the ministers based on the work performance evaluation.

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has signed a work performance agreement with the ministers of the federal government. Now the government is also going to make a monthly report card of the ministers based on the work performance evaluation.


Prime Minister Dahal signed a work performance agreement with ministers for the implementation of the annual program for the fiscal year 2080/81 at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday.


About 21 ministers of the federal government have signed the agreement with the PM Dahal along with the agenda of the ministries led by them.

In the agreement, the results to be achieved are indicated, in which the overall status of the fiscal year 2079/080 and the target of the fiscal year 2080/081 have been determined.


The main tasks to be done are mentioned in the agreement, including the list of programs and activities and the deadlines for completing them.


In the agreement, it is mentioned that the work performance progress should be sent monthly to the Office of the Prime Minister through the online system and it will be used as the basis for monthly and annual reports and evaluation.


The duration of the work performance contract is one year. If the minister's post becomes vacant during the contract period, the newly appointed minister will have to carry out the rest of the work according to this contract.


After signing the work performance agreement, PM Dahal instructed the ministers and secretaries to work effectively according to the mandate and work description.
