KATHMANDU May 18: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has asked parliament to not be doubtful about the investigations being carried out into the fake Bhutanese scam as it is now under public scrutiny.
He made these remarks while answering parliamentarians’ questions in the House of Representatives on Thursday. “I have asked the home minister to investigate firmly, without restraint. The police are also investigating impartially,” he said.
PM Dahal stated that this case is not only a sensitive issue for political parties, but also for the country and the world. “In this case, there will be no prejudice or exceptions,” said PM Dahal. “This issue does not only involve a single party or government. It is now a matter of the public. It is no longer only a national issue but also an international one. International organizations are keeping a close eye on it.”
