PM Dahal meets CPN leader Chand

KATHMANDU, March 8; A meeting was held between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand.

The meeting took place on Wednesday morning at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister. Chand’s Secretariat said that there was a serious discussion and review of the latest political developments in the country. CPN Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma was also present in the meeting.

After a case against Prime Minister Dahal, who is also the Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), was registered at the court, discussions between various Maoist factions have increased. Yesterday, the eight different Maoist factions issued a joint statement and warned that they would respond collectively as a case of the conflict period was taken to the court.
