PM directs Transport Minister, Secretary to develop more service centers

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed the concerned authorities to make transport service effective, people-friendly and efficient for the service-recipients.

Issuing directives to Minister for Physical Planning and Transport Ramesh Lekhak and Secretary Arjun Kumar Karki at his official residence in Baluwatar this morning, Prime Minister Dahal urged them to develop three more transport service centres for the purpose. 

He asserted on the development of two more transport management offices in Kathmandu and one in Bhaktapur to ease the process for issuing driving license, renewing bill book and receiving road permit among others, shared PM Dahal's deputy assistant personal secretary Manohari Timilsina. 

PM Dahal directed them to manage online registration form, to use school and college buildings for examination hall in written examination for the license process among others. 

Timilsina added that Minister Lekhak committed to materializing the PM's direction after holding proper homework in this regard. RSS
