KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Today, a significant meeting is scheduled to take place between United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
According to the Prime Minister's Press Coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma, UN Secretary-General Guterres, who arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday, is set to meet Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter’s office at 2 PM today. Guterres commenced his visit to Nepal at 1 PM on Sunday morning and has an agenda filled with critical discussions.

In addition to the meeting with the Prime Minister, Secretary-General Guterres is also planning to meet with President Ram Chandra Paudel today. Prior to his meeting with the Prime Minister, he is scheduled to hold discussions with Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, as well as Foreign Minister NP Saud.
Furthermore, Guterres will visit the historic Patan Durbar Square today and is expected to attend a dinner organized by the Prime Minister, adding cultural and diplomatic dimensions to his visit.
