KATHMANDU, July 13: The second edition of the Prime Minister Cup University National Sports Event is set to begin from Thursday in Kathmandu. The competition being organized by National Sports Council (NSC) will feature teams from eight universities in three events including volleyball, table tennis and badminton.
The volleyball event that will be played at Dasharath stadium's covered hall will see the participation of eight men's team.
Likewise table tennis and badminton will feature two each players in men's and women's sections respectively from all universities. Table tennis will be held at National Table Tennis Training Center, Lainchaur while the badmintion event will be hosted at International Sports Complex, Satdobato.
The champion of the competition will be announced on the basis of the medals the teams will bag in the three-day event.
