KATHMANDU, March 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has invited leaders of the United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) for the meeting regarding the demands put forward by the Madheshi alliance.
The meeting between the ruling alliance including CPN (Maoist Center) and the agitating UDMF is due to be held at Baluwatar after 3 pm on Friday.
According to the sources, the meeting has been called to convince the agitating UDMF leaders to participate in the upcoming local level elections slated for May 14.
It is learned that the PM Dahal will urge the UDMF leaders to keep aside the issue of provincial delineation to seek consensus on the contentious issues.
