BHAIRAHAWA, April 17: Passengers are facing trouble due to negligence on the part of private airlines. The passengers are bearing the brunt after the airlines do not operate flight services as scheduled.
Air passengers have shared similar stories about getting stuck on the airport lounge where they had to wait for hours for their flight.
“I had booked a ticket of Buddha Air. It was scheduled to take off from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa at 2 pm but it did not take off until 6 pm,” Dadhiram Sharma, a passenger, told Republica Online.
Similarly, Bhupal Raj Shakya has a similar tale to tell. Few days back, he was stuck at the airport lounge for five hours after the scheduled flight of the Saurya Airlines was delayed.
The hospitals are also facing difficulties in transporting patients due to the delayed flight schedule.
However, airlines companies claim that the flights are delayed due to air traffic. They argue that the number of aircraft is increasing day by day while the number of airports remains the same.
