The demonstrations were held at Koteswor, Chabhil, Gongabu, Kalanki, Asan and Lagankhel. The youths chanted slogans carrying placards reading "I am with KP Oli", "We want this government for full five-year term," "We want stability," "We want stable government," and "Be aware of Indian expansionism," "We want prosperous Nepal", and "Don't topple the nationalist government."
The protest comes at a time when Oli is under intense pressure to resign from the posts of Prime Minister and the party chairperson within his party.
