KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Helambu Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district, which is located some 80 kilometers away from the federal capital of the country, looks alluring and mesmerizing as it is currently blanketed in heavy snowfall.
The region, which is 2000 meters above sea level, has received heavy snowfall this season, according to chairman of Helambu Rural Municipality, Nima Gyalzen Sherpa.
Melamchi Ghyang, Sermathang, Tarkeghyang, Kutumsang and Gangyul in the upper belt of the region were covered by thick snow on Saturday.
Rich hyolmo culture, people’s typical lifestyle, alluring natural beauty and untouched mountain ranges are awaiting to be explored.
