KATHMANDU, Oct 3: The locals in the suburbs of the Kathmandu Valley these days are busy harvesting their paddy crops.


Farmers in Sankhu of Shankharapur Municipality were found winding and drying recently harvested paddy when Republica photojournalist Monika Malla reached there on Saturday afternoon.

Paddy is usually planted during the second week of May in the area.
