NSU stages nation-wide demonstration in protest of price hike
The agitating NSU activists staged the sit-in-protest from noon to exert pressure on the NOC to revoke its decision to hike the prices of petroleum products.
The agitating activists argued that it was an inhuman act of the state utility to hike the prices even as people have lost their jobs and other sources of income due to COVID-19. They also maintained that the decision of the NOC was not justifiable in any ways, as the NOC was able to make Rs 3 billion in profit during the three months of the lockdown.
