PHOTOS: Huge traffic seen in Kathmandu after lifting of lockdown

KATHMANDU, July 23: With the government lifting the nearly four-month-long lockdown effective from Tuesday midnight and transportation entrepreneurs deciding to resume public transportation starting Thursday, Kathmandu streets have witnessed a huge traffic.

When Republica photojournalist Dipesh Shrestha reached Kaushaltar, Lokanthali and Jadibuti areas, a large number of public and private vehicles were seen plying the roads like in the pre-lockdown days.
