KATHMANDU, September 6: Flooding at Bagmati river swept three houses in the Balkhu area on Monday morning.
The incessant rainfall since midnight resulted in flooding around the area sweeping the houses. People rushed to safer locations for safety since the rainfall began late evening, scrambling through the remains of flood after water level receded in early hours of Monday.
The vegetable market in Balkhu has been inundated causing huge financial loss to the vegetable vendors.
