DHADING Nov 27: Helicopter is being used to transport ballot boxes from remote areas to the district headquarter, Dhading Besi. A chopper was used to bring 51 ballot boxes from 20 rural municipalities of eastern Dhading, chief district officer Shyam Prasad Bhandari said adding that the chopper was used in areas marked highly sensitive.

DHADING Nov 27: Helicopter is being used to transport ballot boxes from remote areas to the district headquarter, Dhading Besi. A chopper was used to bring 51 ballot boxes from 20 rural municipalities of eastern Dhading, chief district officer Shyam Prasad Bhandari said adding that the chopper was used in areas marked highly sensitive.


Choppers are being used in various parts of the country to ferry ballot boxes to safer spots. On November 26 (yesterday), Nepal successfully conducted its first phase elections for House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly in 32 districts. The Election Commission said 65% voters turned up to vote in yesterday’s elections.
