My school’s film project ‘Squad’ was screened in this beautiful city of Viana do Castelo in Portugal. There I was given free food and accommodation for two nights and a day.

In Lisbon, during Bada Dashain, my classmates paid me a visit at my apartment wishing ‘Happy Nepali Christmas’. 

As a big soccer fan, it was a wonderful experience to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play in real life. This is during Portugal’s home game in Euro Cup qualifier match against Armenia.

Rajan Kathet is a screenwriter and filmmaker. His debut feature film ‘Serdhak: The Golden Hill’ has been screened in many international film festivals. He took these photos from his phone while he was in Europe for the past two years doing his masters.
