KATHMANDU, Oct 1: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has sought complaints against two recommended Supreme Court (SC) justices, Nripadhwaj Niraula and Nityananda Pandey, for appointment to the apex court, publishing a notice on Tuesday.


The PHC has urged one and all to file their complaints with clear evidence and grounds within 10 days during office hours at the District Administration Office or the Secretariat of the committee, if anyone believes the recommended individuals are unfit for the position.

Niraula is currently serving as the Chief Judge of the Patan High Court, while Pandey is holding the position of Chief Judge at the Tulsipur High Court.


Earlier on Friday, the Judicial Council had recommended Niraula and Pandey for judgeships at the apex court.
