KATHMANDU, June 2: Amid rumors about shortage of medicine in the country, the Association of Pharmaceuticals Producers of Nepal (APPON) has assured that there is stock of medicines sufficient for a year.
According to APPON, the stock of medicines is sufficient for a year while the raw materials needed for producing medicines are enough for 90 days.
The association held an emergency meeting Friday and issued the statement after some communications media reported that the country could face medicine shortage.
