KATHMANDU, April 13: People around the country have sung national anthem from their homes at 8 am today.

Earlier yesterday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli urged one and all play national anthem from their houses as respect to all the medics, security personnel, emergency service staff, cleaners, supermarket staff, and everyone else striving hard for the safety of Nepal and Nepalis. 

Republica’s sister organization Radio Nagarik 96.5 Mhz, the partner of the event, played national anthem at 8 am this morning.
