Pedestrian knocked down to death by vehicle in Mahottari

MAHOTTARI, Oct 21: A man was killed after being hit by a Tata Sumo Van at Bardibas Municipality in Mahottari district. 

The victim has been identified as Bhairav Bahadur Hemjan of Mithila Munciplaity-8 in Dhanusha district, according to the District Traffic Police, Mahottari. 

The Tata Sumo (Na 1 Ja 2902) heading to Sarlahi from Dhanusha Saturday knocked down Hemjan walking towards the same direction. Hemjan died on the spot. 

Police has taken under control the driver and impounded the vehicle, it is said. RSS
