URLABARI (Morang), Sept 9: A pedestrian was killed in a road mishap at Koshiharaicha Municipality-9 in Mornag district along the East-West Highway this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Padam Kumari Bhatta (Ghimire) of Shadananda Municipality-4 in Bhojpur district, according to Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Belbari, Meghraj Thapa. Bhatta died on the spot in the incident.

The accident took place when a bus (Na 5 Kha) en route to Narayangadh from Kakadvitta of Jhapa district hit her. Police have arrested the bus driver and have impounded the vehicle. RSS
