KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Keshav Paudel and Ranjit Singh have advanced into the Round of 16 of the ongoing ninth Babin Memorial Open Badminton Tournament, on Tuesday.
In the men’s doubles category, the pair of Paudel and Singh defeated Jest Badminton Club’s Sanjeev Bhandari and Priyanshu Singh Chhetri on straight sets of 21-18, 22-20.

Dhurva Lama and Narayan Bahadur Pandey also entered into the last 16. The pair got a walkover from Man Bahadur Badminton Club’s Jay Rai and Sujan Rai.
In the other match on the day, Dinesh Thulung Rai and Deepak Thapa Magar lost to Panch Kumari Club’s Simant Lamichhane and Dinesh Karki 21-19, 14-21, 21-17.
