The court decision came in a response to a writ petition registered by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and National Cooperative Development Board against the appointment. A division bench of the court comprising judges Shiva Narayan Yadav and Pramod Baidya on Wednesday legitimatized the appointments, paving the way for the incumbent Sajha Publication office-bearers to continue in office.The appointments of Publication's Chair and General Manager Dolindra Prasad Sharma, Board of Directors' member Pradeep Nepal, Dinanath Sharma and Prof Dr Krishnahari Baral were recognised by the court. The then Publication GM Sharma was appointed as the Chairman on July 26.
Senior advocates Hari Upreti and Raman Kumar Shrestha pleaded on behalf of the Sajha Publications.
The Sajha was brought under the subordination of the Ministry of Education three years back as per the Cabinet meeting. RSS
