Parliamentary probe committee gets seven more days

KATHMANDU, July 22: The deadline of the parliamentary probe committee formed to probe irregularities seen in the budget has been extended for a week. Earlier, the committee was given 10 days to submit its report.

KATHMANDU, July 22: The deadline of the parliamentary probe committee formed to probe irregularities seen in the budget has been extended for a week. Earlier, the committee was given 10 days to submit its report. 


A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) held Thursday unanimously passed a motion to extend the committee's deadline for one more week.

At the HoR meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota had tabled a proposal for the extension of deadline of the committee as per the Rule 166 of the HoR Regulations-2075.
