Parliamentary party meeting of Democratic Socialist Party called for 1PM to discuss MCC

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: A parliamentary party meeting of the Democratic Socialist Party has been called at the party’s central office at Babarmahal at 1PM today. 

The meeting will discuss the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement among other issues, leader Laxmanlal Karna said. The 13-member parliamentary party will make a concrete decision on the MCC grant agreement and make it public. 

The Democratic Socialist Party has been claiming that the MCC agreement is useful for physical infrastructure development and prosperity of Nepal and Nepalis.
