The Committee's meeting on Sunday instructed the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) and Ministry of Defense to work in such a manner that the weakness and errors relating to the project in the past would not be repeated in the future.

The parliamentary committee's meeting concluded that the investigation committee clarified that the contract for the package Number 4 and 5 of the project was against the Public Procurement Act's Clause 27 (3). The project is targeted to be completed by 2025.

An investigation committee was formed as per the committee's instruction on March 27 this year. The Committee had repeatedly asked the parties concerned in the Rs 175 billion-project to conclude the contract process in line with the prevailing laws.
