KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Finance Committee of the Federal Parliament has tabled a report on the Banking Offenses and Punishment (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, in the House of Representatives (HoR).

Santosh Chalise, chairperson of the Finance Committee under the HoR, on Tuesday presented the committee's report at the HoR meeting.

The committee's report emphasizes the need to modernize legal provisions related to check bounce cases, with the goal of ensuring the safety of financial transactions for both individuals and organizations.
