Parliament's obstruction will be removed from tomorrow: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the obstruction in Parliament will be removed from Sunday.


On the occasion of Ram Briksha Yadav's Memorial Day, PM Dahal, who visited to pay homage at the party's central office Paris Danda, said that initiatives are being taken to resolve the issue of obstruction.

Mentioning that he is constantly trying to end the deadlock in the parliament, he said that he will take initiatives to end the deadlock in the parliament even today. He shared plans to engage in discussions with both the main opposition and the ruling coalition later in the evening, with intentions to convene a parliamentary session on Sunday.


“We have been continuously taking initiatives for solving the problem, just yesterday I held discussions with the speaker in Baluwatar. Our efforts will continue till evening today. and I am optimistic that the House will reconvene tomorrow," he said.
