KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The Development Committee of the Legislature-Parliament presented its Annual Report in the parliament meeting today.
Presenting the report, committee president Rabindra Adhikari informed the parliament about the discussions held with the bodies concerned regarding the post-earthquake reconstruction, development works and works of other parliamentary committees, and the directives the committee issued to that regard.

He said the expected results could not be achieved and the situation was such that discussions needed to be held again in connection to the implementation of the committee directives.
The committee president stressed on the need for the government and the parliament to work in coordination with each other which according to him was not taking place. He also gave the information that the committee had spent 78 hours in discussions as well as on on-site study visit. RSS
