Parliament endorses two bills

KATHMANDU, July 7: The second meeting of House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday unanimously approved two bills.

KATHMANDU, July 7: The second meeting of House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday unanimously approved two bills. 


The approved bills are Drugs (Third Amendment) Bill-2079 BS and the Bill relating to the Security of Health Workers/Professionals and Health Institutions (First Amendment)-2079 BS.

In the first meeting of the HoR, Minister for Health and Population Bhawani Prasad Khapung had presented proposal seeking consideration on the Drugs (Third Amendment) Bill-2079 BS while Minister Khapung himself had presented the similar proposal for the Bill relating to the Security of Health Workers/Professionals and Health Institutions (First Amendment)-2079 BS. 


Deliberations on the both proposals were conducted where Minister Khapung responded to the queries raised by parliamentarians on the same.
