ILAM, Jan 17: The Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Company based at Sandakpur Rural Municipality of Ilam is to issue initial public offering (IPO) to the locals from January 19.
The Company is to sell 10 per cent IPO to the locals of the areas affected by the 12-Megawatt Upper Mai and the 6.1-Megawatt Upper Mai 'C' hydroelectricity projects, Company executive director Santosh Kumar Pradhan said.
Mai Khola Hydropower to issue IPO
The company is offering 1.1 million units of shares worth Rs 110 million to the locals of the Sandakpur Rural Municipality, the project affected area and to the locals of Ilam Municipality who are affected by the construction of the electricity transmission line of the company.
The people of Sandakpur Rural Municipality can buy 660 thousand units of shares and those of the Ilam Municipality 440 thousand units of shares, the Company has stated. RSS
