KATHMANDU, June 9: Panchakanya Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes and fittings has received ISI certification from India's quality certification agency.

Issuing a statement, the company said that it is the first Nepali product to get ISI certification. "Panchakanya Group has been producing CPVC pipes and fittings by using Japanese Sekisui raw materials for the past six years.

Sekisui has received NSF standard," the statement added. The certification will help the company to export its products to different Indian markets, according to the statement.

"CPVC pipes and fittings  are lead-free, non-corrosive, non-toxic, chemical and ultra violet (UV) resistant. Similarly, they offer greater heat resistance and withstand corrosive water temperatures," it added.
